Well I am figuring for the 2 of us getting married at the chapel @Grand Wailea with an upgrade photography package, accomodations for 1 week is about $10,000.

But I am sure, when it is all set and done, it will be higher.

I think it's really going to be about how unique this will be. You can get a ceremony at the AIs for cheap. Mine is less than $400 for all that. Will this be in mexico? If it was in the US I could see it being higher. A big appeal to Mexico to me was how much they take care of for you for such little money.

If she plans some really unique events I could see people paying more. But, if it's similar to what the resorts offer, I think there is just too much competition.

Im doing the same kinda wedding. I choose the big package - 1500 and that includes both of our traditional ceremony outfits that we are opting out of! Now that i think of it, I should have bought the middle package.

I agree - it all depends on the photographer's prices and the quality you want...

this was my thought exactly - i counted at least $5000 for the photography alone, so i voted $10,000 to cover the rest of it. i assume this does NOT include the dinner ... so the rest should easily be covered by the remainder after photography.
