OOT bag deliema...

Recommended Posts

You could really just keep it very simple and just have one small gift box rather than a bag. I contacted our visitor board and had them send us some information--for free! Here is theirs Official Charleston SC Visitors Guide | Charleston Travel Guide | Charleston Vacation & Tourist Guide

You can also look into getting dicount vochers from local places like bulldog tours or the aquarium. We went there last year and loved it! I think any effort your put in is worth it's weight in gold!

You could also make up some postcard for people and get them printed at vistaprint. If you need some photos I might have some that you could use.

My friend had her wedding at a local resort, but most of the wedding guests stayed the weekend. She ordered personalized Hershey bars that the hotel staff gave us when we checked in. The personalization was a piece of paper wrapped around the chocolate bar with their names and wedding date and thank you for coming. The ingredients listed love, happiness, etc. I'm sure you could totally print something out on your own computer on some colored paper and buy some chocolate or other candy bars at Sam's or Costco. I thought it was a cute idea that doesn't need to cost a lot. Plus, I was so hungry by the time I got to my room and didn't want to eat something heavy before the rehearsal dinner that I ended up eating the candy right away.

don't know if you've checked out oriental trading yet, but if you click on the sale stuff, they usually h ave stuff left over from halloween, incl. trick or treat bags as well as the hollow pumpkins used for trick or treating. it doesn't even need to be filled with 'stuff' - put maps and guides in there, add a bottle or 2 of water and some individual bags of chips or chocolate or some kind of snack to munch on at 12:25am and guests will be happy. i would, at least!

i think any kind of snacks for your guests to have in their room would be appreciated and used. When my sis got married she had a lot of out of town guests and we did little gift bags with chips, peanuts, cookies, chocolates, water, and gum. I travel for work and I hate when it's 11pm and I have the munchies and no change for the snack machine.

I would skip the oot beach bag/canvas bag and go with a very elegant gift bag. maybe Brown or White. Print out your monogram or wedding logo and put them on there... or you can have them made. I would go very simple with the stuff you put in there. I would put info about SC and the area, pamphlets you could probably get for the city's information center or states tourist center for free. A wedding newsletter, and a few snacks. But dont get carried away with soaps, puzzle books, and the extras. I think the guest will rather get stuff that they could use.

If you really want to do the OOT bags, here's a site that has very frosted gift bags. I know I saw a pic of these on the forum but can't remember who posted it or what thread it was in. The bags can also be personalized with your name/date, etc. You can get 50 bags for $46 dollars, 75 bags for $61 dollars & 100 bags for $77 dollars.

Like everyone else suggested, throw some water & snacks in here & I think you're good to go.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
