flip flop playing cards - worth it or not?

Recommended Posts

So the mini ones are cheap enough - but super mini - are they worth it? Playing cards while drinking and talking is fun - but is it impossible with such little cards? I don't know if it is worth buying the big ones though b/c I'd have to get 72 packs!

This is what I was going to say...my sister thought they were a great idea because she went to a wedding in Texas this last weekend and they provided oot bags and had playing cards in there and their flight home was delayed overnight so they spend hours in the airport and she said the cards came in handy...

So now I am going to add them. chances are there won't be flight trouble, but if so it would be nice and who can't use cards at home??

I went to Family Dollar a few days ago & they have the standard size deck of playing cards for $1 each.

FI also has poker parties every now & then & we found multi packs at BJ's. I can't remember how many were in 1 box but I know the price was right cuz he bought 2 boxes.

So you may want to check around.

Oh, also check ebay.

I ordered metalic playing cards from OTC and they were $7.95 for 12 I think. And they are full size. I would def. recommend getting full size cards over the ones the size of your thumb.

I second this. I don't think people will use the mini cards. We also ordered the metallic cards for my daughter's OOT bags and they are nice. However, I ordered the dominoes from OTC not realizing they are the mini version and was disappointed with them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
