I suffer from FKS also - Fat Knee Syndrome... wink.gif

So glad to hear that your surgery went well... and they really do look great! Don't you just feel so much more in proportion and curvy?! I had mine done some years back (seven) and it was one of the best decisions I made for myself. Like you - I had boob... I just was really unhappy with the shape.

I had my surgery trans-umbilically - so no cutting at all! If I were doing it again, I would have had the implants UNDER the muscle, but didn't want to loose upper body strength (b/c of my job) as happens when they cut the muscle.

But I love my boobs! And had a pretty renowned surgeon who did a brilliant job! My FI constantly goes on about my breastesses!

Also, I'm not expecting to have any problems breast feeding (like FurtureMrsB, I have experienced a little lactation) so I'm really pleased about that. And probably b/c it was trans-umbilically as opposed to cutting in the nipple area, I'm thinking that maybe that has more to do with affecting your odds with BFing. Hey, I have friends who haven't had surgery and were unable to BF. That was a big factor for me when considering the surgery.

Again, Congrats! They'll be feeling like your own in no time. Oh, and I neglected to do all of the exercises they tell you to do post-op... the kneading daily, etc., etc. I was too lazy... and my girls still look fantastic!

That is a good point about the breastfeeding actually. I breastfeed both my kids, but not for very long. It was a fight to get my daughter to breastfeed which decreased my milk product to nothing by 6 weeks in. My son was an awesome breastfeeder, but since I had him 3 weeks early and I didn't go into labour with him, my milk supply was not great and he was essentially starving, so that only lasted 4 weeks! There are many reasons that people can't breastfeed that don't relate to surgery, but that can also be a side effect from the surgery that you have to think about too.

Yeah my BF had a baby six months ago and she was able to breast feed for maybe three days. She dried up really fast. Her husband was really mean too he thought she was lying so she didn't have to breast feed so she could drink a beer LMAO. I was like are you for real? I told him off I was so mad. But yeah I hear that a lot that people have a hard time breast feeding. I guess we will see when and if the day gets here :) Thanks for the support girls. I really appreaciate it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
