I'm onto Job #3 - Sorta!

It sucks when you have bills to pay, a mortgage, and a wedding to plan and pay for so I got myself a 3rd job (as if two wasn't enough). I now work in a hair salon doing both hair and facials, I work at a nail salon doing just facials, and I also work at a spa where I do facials, waxing, and makeup. Well, last night I got a call from my Spa Manager telling me that they're closing!! censored.gif Times are rough for everyone and of course my line of work is "luxury" and if people have to cut back on spending, I'm the one that gets "cut back". It sucks bc I was getting paid good commission for each facial. The good thing is that the spa I worked for was supposed to open in the gym I go to which is literally down the road from my house. Even if they don't go in there, the gym will still put a spa in there and I could apply for a job. It'd be so awesome going to work and just walking across the hall to the gym. So now I'm down to 2 jobs again lol

Sorry I rambled.rant.gif <-- but this is what I look like right now lol

aww thanks for the vibes :)

Yea the gas is definitely hard for me. My hair salon job is an hour away so I actually spend more on traveling than I make!

Well I think it's great that you actually have more than 1 job- at least you are trying. But don't worry too much b/c in time it will pick up, the weather is getting nice, summer is around the corner.

I always bitch and moan that I have no $ saved. It's never ending I swear. I am SO stressd right now about $$ I could jump outta my car while driving.

I should be more like you, Juicy, and all those other peop's out there that have more than 1 job. ARGHHH

Aww, that sucks. Good luck with the gym spa though!

If I lived closer to your area I'd give you some business. I haven't really found a spa I like around me. I used to go to one in New Hope, PA.But since moving further south, that's just way too far.

It really is a great job. I relax as my clients relax and you get to meet interesting people.

We had talked about that with the spa owners . We'd get employee discounts so our membership would be $60. My FI bought my membership for me before the gym opened so I got an even better deal and only have to pay $40 a month forever no matter if they raise their prices WOOHOO!

It sucks having to run around everywhere but I've been lucky with the employers I have. They're flexible with my schedule which is key. I might even be trying to get another job on the side making scrapbooks for people. I just feel bad having some debt going into this marriage. I wanna get my shizzznit straight lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
