If this dress was on Oprah...that's why it is on backorder. I worked for Nordstrom.com for 10 years and every time something we sold was mentioned on her show we sold out in less then 24 hours. It used to drive us nuts as we only would get notified in advance 1/2 the time that the items would be on the show. The other half we would find out the week before it aired, which is not enough time to get more stock.

I would love to see this dress in person. It looks like it might be tough for a more petite frame to wear, but I could be wrong.

so i just called victoria's secret to find out if i could get better instructions, or find the instructions that were on the website. they said they yanked the 1 dress 7 ways off the website because it was so popular they couldn't meet the demands. It will probley be back up, along with better instructions in april.

Here is a similar dress from american apparel for $36 in a variety of colors- My roommate has one and loves it. I don't think you can do the exact same styles but it is basically the same idea. Oh, and there is a video clip showing you how to create each of the different styles

i saw that one - it is not quite as dressy as the VS one - i think that american apparel one is good for a bathing suit coverup or lunch but not a BM dress!

the material is nice, it feels light on but is in no way see through or anything. actually the straps are quite heavy when you are trying to tie them up behind your back!
my sister brought the dress back over and let me try it on and play around with it (she has totally given up) the halter style is no problem and looks really nice, there one was one other way, the way with that made it look short sleeved, was not to hard either, the rest i gave up on. I really want to figure out the strapless, it's actually tricky, i thought it would be easy.
with that said my sister didn't help me, if you had a couple BM's helping each other do the fancy tying the back, i think it would be alot easier.
I'm happy with it.
one other thing, i think it would be hard to wear a strapless bra, the back is pretty low. you may have to go braless.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
