GREAT idea.... that could be pretty easily done... well with proper planning a head of time.. i know quicktime has a live broadcast program Apple - QuickTime - QuickTime Broadcaster you can do with your laptop and webcam. of course youd need to figure out the logistics with the resort ...

Did you hear back from Claudia regarding when they would have the webcam for the weddings?

 

I just emailed her, but am impatient and don't want to wait the 2 - 10 days it may take her to respond. :-)

september is the height of hurricane season in that area, and while the chances are probably slim that there would be a hurricane on the wedding day (or during the trip), it wasn't a chance i personally was willing to take. we were originally looking at october (a halloween wedding!) and i would have done it without a problem if it was only tom and i, but with guests i felt we were putting too many others at risk of a pricey but ruined (and possibly dangerous) vacation. so we switched to may.

but with our luck ... haha!

that said, i went on a *fabulous* southern caribbean cruise 2 years ago in AUGUST, and our weather was hot and humid but otherwise perfect! would hate to make our summer/fall brides fret needlessly!

The last time I went I went around the middle of September and I just missed a massive hurricane that did take half the beach with it lol and even that was red hot - just looked at a pic yesterday and the only white on my face is where the shades were other than that its lobster colour lol
