of course i used my personal account, actually i used a balance leftover in my paypal account so theres no trace of me buying another ring unless he gets into my paypal LOL. thankfully i am also the only one who picks up the mail and packages, so i can just ditch the box before i get in the house.

if i do find the other, i just wont say anything. he would be even madder if he knew i bought a second one. i havent really figured out what to do yet. i guess ill cross that bridge when i come to it! i just dont want him to worry about it. we just had to have a car repair today that was $400 so i dont want him to worry about money the closer we get to the wedding, KWIM? if i just take care of it and he doesnt find out til after the wedding i think that would be best for everyone.

its a 2004... while jose was gone, i was driving my friend home from dinner one night and the check engine light went on and the car was running super slow. i was totally freaked and called the dealership where we have it serviced and he told me to do a couple things and check a few things, and then to drive it around 4-5 dif times to see if something would reset itself. it did, but jose still took it in this morning as a precaution.

he texted me from the dealership a bit ago to say it was a sensor that was the problem, so the gas mixture was too rich, and thats what caused the problem, so as a result, they had to replace the sensor, gas & air filters and change the oil. so the grand total was about $400. i asked him if i could give him some money toward it, but he said no, so....

they told me to try that, but my gas cap was on tight. i took it off and screwed it back on tight again, and after driving it 3 more times the engine light went off, but i still was nervous about it. glad we took it in because it wasnt using the fuel efficiently at all, so its fixed now, but after $400 ugh! smile27.gif

What if Jose finds it after you get married while you are wearing the replacement band? eeek! I could never keep it a secret. I would just tell him I bought a new one...but my case might be different because Jay loses EVERYTHING and there is no way he could be mad at me. fencing.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
