^^AHH!!! How exciting, Maura!!!

Ladies, I wanted to share this with you. Brides.com sent me this 1-month-to-go Check-off list that I thought you guys may find helpful, too:

Congratulations: Your wedding is just 1 month away!

Stay on schedule by tackling these tasks.

Call guests who have not mailed back their response cards.

Make your place cards.

Finalize your vows.

Pick up your wedding dress.

Confirm your honeymoon reservations.

Decide whether you want a ceremonial send-off, with rose petals or bubbles; purchase these materials.

Give must-shoot lists to your photographer and videographer.

Give must-play and do-not-play lists to your reception musicians.

Distribute wedding-weekend task lists to key helpers.

Do some stress-relieving activity every day.

Apply for your marriage license.

Call guests who have not mailed back their response cards. need to send my civil ceremony invites this weekend, theyre all confirmed as coming, the invite is just a formality at this point.

Make your place cards. not doing this since only 8 guests for civil ceremony and not doing a sit down dinner with all of them

Finalize your vows. NEED TO DO THIS!

Pick up your wedding dress. NEED TO GET MY ALTERATIONS ON THE CIVIL CEREMONY DRESS! shouldnt take long, just have to actually go to the tailor to have it taken up a few inches. must do that in the next week because i have TTD shoot with a local photog on june 22nd

Confirm your honeymoon reservations. DONE, my FI took care of this

Decide whether you want a ceremonial send-off, with rose petals or bubbles; purchase these materials. not doing this one :)

Give must-shoot lists to your photographer and videographer. my dad is shooting our civil ceremony since he used to be a wedding photog. i will give him the sheet of photos to be sure to get when i see him this weekend

Give must-play and do-not-play lists to your reception musicians. we just got this questionnaire for our DJ for cabo, so we need to sit down to fill it out

Distribute wedding-weekend task lists to key helpers. i need to make lists of these things for both the CC and the DW!

Do some stress-relieving activity every day. trying to :)

Apply for your marriage license. we have to do this the last week of june. i already got all the requirements: need state ID and $30 cash fee

Wow. Your seamstress has some nerve. Tell her to frog off! LOL. :) How rude! I am sure your BMs will look lovely! I've gotta do that CD for the band-break thing, too. Your wedding is a day before mine! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
