katrina, tell me about the fix stuff for your face, everyone talks about it, but no one has described it in detail! like smell, feel, what you do with it, how often do you use it??

sure thing. it literally feels like water so you don't feel it at all once dry. it goes on like a mist, not really a spray. you're supposed to put it on first before moisturizing and let it dry. then put it on afterwards to set in the makeup. it has a light clean smell. some of the ingredients are green tea, chamomile, and cucumber. it was $14.

does that help? if you have other questions let me know. smile159.gif

she beat me to it, but she hit it right on the head. i bought this stuff right after someone posted about it months ago (was it jules?) and i only use it for going out on special occassions, but everytime i use it, my makeup looks so amazing compared to when i dont use it. the scent is really nice too. what i do is lightly mist after ive put the makeup on, and then using a large fluffy makeup brush, just lightly brush it over my face evenly to make sure the mist gets everywhere and whatnot. i love this stuff.

katrina, about how much did you spend at mac? just wanna know how much i should expect to shell out for all that stuff :) i might have to hold off going until june.... i am so pale right now so i dont wanna buy yet just in case i somehow am able to get a little tan haha

maura, we've been having snow, rain, sleet and hail, and weirdly, sunshine at the same time! so don't feel bad about being in chi-town!

We're getting closer, ladies!

J and I went to pick out his wedding band this weekend.

I've still gotta figure out music. Haven't thought at all about that.

I took my dress to get it altered this weekend and amazingly, for it to be taken in and the bustle, the lady is only charging me $70! My friend got charged over $500 for the same thing.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
