OMG girls. I don't know why I can't get my act together! We wanted to get our STD's out by the 11th, and haven't even finished them yet. Have all of you that are doing STD's sent them yet?

I'm exhausted just thinking of all I need to do, how about I just list what we've done.

STD's sent last year

GM/FI suits

My dress (need alterations)

Veil (may add lace to wear it as a mantilla, but may keep it as is and wear it as a drop veil)

Invites will be mailed by the end of the week

picked main entrees for dinner

booked band

booked photog

booked hairdresser (a good friend of a BM who is flying in, yay!)

booked pre-wedding hotel, honeymoon, flights

ordered shot glasses

have palm fans (ribbon handle done, still need favor tags)

have star fish (still need name/table number tags)

booked church for ceremony

selected centerpeices

Hmm, that's all I can think of for know.

well yeah, but we're doing STD's for our big fake wedding at home because it is in the summer when a lot of families with kids are on vacation, and we wanted to make sure they plan around us! we have about 200 people coming to that one, LOTS of kids!

ah..... well then yeah, you should get on that! technically for at home weddings, you only need to send STDs to people out of town, but since you have people with kids, i would say its a good idea to send them if you want everybody to come! my FMIL just ordered the STDs for mexico yesterday and will get them in 2 weeks. so dont stress, but yeah you should get those out in the next week or two.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
