I think I'm doing them, but just keeping them really simple and printing out myself.  That way I'll still get the programs, but won't be spending a ton of money to have them!

I plan on doing DIY programs.  Since I did DIY invites, I think the extra supplies will only cost me ~$7 (white card stock and vellum), so it is more a matter of effort than cost.

My programs (which I just made my first mock-up of yesterday), will be 1/2 of a sheet of paper (so 8.5" tall x 5.5" wide, thus cutting costs) and will be 4 layers thick tied together by navy blue ribbon.  Navy is one of my colors and I have been using this ribbon on the invites and on all of the tags.  The layers will be a top layer of vellum printed with our wedding logo, second layer will be white card stock with the order of events for the ceremony, third layer is also white card stock with the bridal party, fourth layer will be unprinted light blue card stock.  Light blue is our other color and was used for the invites and as a backing for all of the tags.  The white card stock layers will be cut smaller to see the light blue around them.

Sorry I don't have a picture of the final product, but hopefully you can picture it.

I am not going to do them. I did order fans & will put them on the seats.

Whenever I go to a wedding I throw out the programs plus I am not having that many guests. Figured it would be a waste.  I would rather spend the money on oot items & favors or whatever.

But of course after seeing this thread they all look so good but I still will probably skip it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
