Packing raffia fans

    How did you guys pack the fans so that they don't break?

      Raffia fans are very pliable and won't break or rip.. do you have a picture of your fans so we know what you're talking about? Are you referring to an attached flower? We just stacked our in a few totes that we brought. It was helpful to have that and candles on top so it was obviously for a wedding when going through the airport.

        I just put them all in a huge bag and stuck it in the suitcase.
        BUT I did not have the programs on them.
        I stuck those on with zots once we were there.

          I'm talking about the ones from Oriental Trading Company or Bliss weddings (the ones you gals all wrap with ribbon on the handles). Were your suitcases hard top? Mine are kind of the softer type.

              Mine were the ones from Bliss.
              What Angela said... they are durable... they are a softer straw that gives somewhat.
              I did not have a hard suitcase. None of them broke.
