Who is familiar with Carol's Daughter - Personal and Beauty Care Items Inspired by Nature and Produced With Love?

I first heard of this line during our Secret Cupid Exchange b/c Jamy (starchild) had it on her Wish List.

I checked it out and the difference fragrance collections sounded just amazing. So, I told my sister that I'd like to try the Jamacian Punch line if anyone needed a gift idea for my shower. Well, my sister got all the BM's to chip in and I got this HUGE basket with the ENTIRE line of the Jamaican Punch Collection.

Let me tell you ... I read so many fabulous reviews about this line that I asked for it w/o ever trying it ... and now ... every single person at my shower (including me, of course!) is in LOVE with this scent!

The reviews talk about how it lasts all day and let me tell you -- I put on only the body lotion this morning (don't want too much scent at work and really just wanted to see if it would last) and I could smell the hint of scent all day long. It is absolutely amazing. I can only imagine once I layer with all the different things!!!

This is going to be my wedding day scent and it's already become my favorite nighttime and weekend scent. I cannot tell you how amazing it is!

My sister tried the Almond Cookie Collection and is head over heels for that one too.

Anyway, just an FYI if you are looking for something new to try.

Mary J Blige is also one of their models/spokeswomen as well as Jada Pinckett Smith.

And thanks to Jamy for listing it on your Wish List and getting me curious enough to try it and now LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

(it's also at Macy's and Sephora, FYI).

Yay! Carol's Daugher is the shit, and I don't use that term lightly...haha The fragrances are so yummy and they are long lasting. I'm jealous you got the whole basket wow.gif That's awesome!

Love the almond cookie too, and the ocean...and groove...well pretty much all of them are fabulous. Once you start experimenting try the black vanilla leave in conditioner spray...mmmmm

And the Love Butter with the cinnamon stick, just so cute and it really works well. Now I want to go shopping :)

I've heard great things about these products too but haven't tried them yet myself. Aren't they're hair products best for bi-racial or ethic type hair?

I didn't even know they had lotions and body products too. I will defiantly try them now.

Their catalog is targeted towards African Americans ... and it does look like at least most of their hair products are developed for ethnic hair.

I had no idea when I asked for it, nor does it matter b/c I am not using any of the hair products ... but my sister mentioned it after she got the items delivered and it came with the catalog, which uses exclusively black models (including Mary J and Jada).

Jamy -- I am totally ready to try some of the other scents too. they all sound so YUMMY!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
