Make up advice please??

Here are bre's pictures. She is also wearing bare minerals.

 

Good ones to see her makeup are 12, 27, 34, 49, 55. 113 is later in the evening & I think her makeup still looks good. Bareminerals is definitly a more natural look without a complete matte coverage. So maybe it's not for everyone on their wedding day. It's most likely what I'll be wearing though.

So, I ended up looking at all her pictures lol.. she is beautiful! I love the pics at the end where everyone jumped in the pool. That is so cute.

I use the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. It really does go on light and its not very matte nor very shiny. I'd recommend using a foundation brush. It gives great coverage without feeling cakey or heavy.

 

I also second the Dior Show mascara. I normally don't use the waterproof version but plan on getting that for the wedding. I like it better than Clinque, Estee and Lancome personally.

 

I believe GA also has a hydra-glow foundation with spf. And a fluid sheer foundation, which goes on even lighter. Its more expensive and not too many stores sell it but lasts forever.

I bought a beauty club membership at Carol Baker Visage, with the membership you can go for a makeover once a month and they don't pressure you much to buy their stuff. So I've gone twice before but neither time was I overly happy with my makeup. So maybe I should try MAC, it's just I didn't want to have to buy super expensive makeup, and I assume if you get a free makeover from them you have to buy their stuff (or at least they probably pressure you hard to).

 

As for mascara, I read somewhere else somebody saying they tried fake lashes and loved the effect, plus you don't have to worry about mascara leaking! I'm going to give it a try before and see how it looks.

Yes, I would definately recommend even a little bit of foundation - camera's pick up every flaw and blemish. A light foundation will just even your skin tone out. If you don't want a cakey look and are not used to apllying foundations - don't use full coverage foundations.

Always apply with a foundation brush - gives even application!

 

P.S. Always test foundations in person and test on the jaw line - walk outside with a compact mirror to make sure there's an exact match.

P.P.S If the colors are slightly off, you can always use a loose powder to match the color.

So I had the same topic question, and I did learn that the SPF in makeup reflects the light, which I never knew! But as far as the Moon Palace make up.....Im not sure what to do...my own or trust their salon?????
