Yay Jilly! YAY MARTHA!!!! Yay Everyone!!!!

I 'm really enjoying reading everyones weight loss, nurtition, exercising (and pregnancy!) successes. Keep it up!

Just wanted to share my yummy supper/desert that I made tonight:

Poached Tilapia Filet (90 calories)

- Fill a frying pan with 1 inch water, throw in some lemon juice & garlic.

- Put the tilapia filet in when the water is boiling and then put a tight lid on top.

- The fish will be done when it flakes (but try not to remove the lid too much).

***This doesnt really go with the rest of the meal but sometines I make a homemade tar tar sauce to put on the fish: 1 tbsp light mayo with a crapload of relsih. Sounds gross to some but I love it!***

Steamed Veggies & Balsamic Reduction (50 calories)

- Steam veggies (pretty self explanitory I guess)

- pour 1 cup balsamic vinagrette into a seperate saucepan, bring it to a boil then lower to a simmer. Simmer until its the consistency of syrup and doesnt have an acidic taste.

- Coat the veggies in the balsamic reduction...it's delish!

Homemade frozen yogurt (130 calories)

100g Danone light vanilla yogurt

1/2c frozen blackberries

- Whip it up till all the berries are mixed through in a magic bullet or something high powered like that.

- Put it back in the freezer for 30 min..then ENJOY!!!

So tonight my DH decided to get pizza. God who knew one slice of a small cheese pizza is 4 POINTS! Crazy! So, I had a salad, used my own dressing, and had one piece of pizza.

I swear I could have devoured the entire pizza plus more, but I was good.

Anytime I want to cave in and eat things I shouldn't be eating or binge, I've been telling myself that I need to practice self control, it's really hard, but I just keep repeating it in my head.

I hope everyones having a good day/night!

Look how fabulous everyone did! I don't want to see anyone writing that they only lost x amount. Be proud of all your weight losses! If you didn't lose weight, be proud of another thing you accomplished that week, like working out. We're doing so well. Keep up the good work ladies!!

Thanks Jill. I need to remember this next time I want to indulge in booze, pizza or fast food. Congrats for the wee BTW.

you guys are just sending me the weights - i am figuring out the % lost each week. my handy little spreadsheet is all set up! i just plug in the weights and it does the rest. but i'm just taking the % change from week to week. the overall winner will be the biggest % change from start to finish.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
