Well thanks to Maura I've decided I'm going to bring a chicken and just grill it instead. I might bring some shrimp too, that would be yummy.
Unfortunately Jill I know there won't be any salad. These are not salad type people. They eat unhealthy food all the time. LOL.
Yeah, I know salad bars can skeeve some people out, they don't bother me that much, but that was really the only one I ever ate at and I don't anymore since it makes me sick.
No salad huh, gotta loves those parties, you just know there will be all kinds of food you want to eat! Is this a party you need to make something for? Could you make a salad and bring it? I think the chicken and shrimp are great ideas too, the protein will fill you up. But if you're going to be drinking definetly bring a lo cal snack because I know when I drink I lose self control! What about packing a pack of microwave popcorn? Just in case you really need something later after drinking.
Good Luck! I have a b-day party this weekend too and it will probably involve some drinking, so I've got to be good!

Long story short I have not been eating right or exercising at all. I bailed out on my trainer last week and threw all my healthy eating habits out the window. I am expected a gain tomorrow, but I am ready for it.
I know I can do this!
I am proud of myself cause my coworkers were going to go to Tommy's Burgers (greasy chili burgers) for lunch and I said no. I am going to Wahoo's instead and now they are all coming. LOL. Yay, for eating and staying healthy.
Good Luck Yari going for your bosses job! I know when you get really busy its so hard to exercise and eat well. Just do your best and try to make good decisions. I've been so busy lately its been such a struggle to work out, but I've done it. I don't think I would have though if DH wasn't doing it with me, he's keeping me motivated to stick with it.
Try to get yourself back on track this week, you can do it, this is our final week coming up!
So, I've been doing so good with eating and exercising. I usually bring my lunch to work, but today I was running late and didn't have anything I really wanted so I ran down to the store at lunch and was planning to buy a little dish of chicken salad and was just going to have that and my apple for lunch.
Well, I get down there and I see little containers of pastrys from my favorite bakery! Apparently the little store now sells the bakeries stuff! Ahhhh!! I ended up buying a container and ate 6 pieces!!! I felt so awful, but I just couldn't contain myself!! So then I went to eat my chicken salad when I got back and it wasn't even very good, I ate a few bites and threw it out. So, I caved and ate really bad stuff, but that was pretty much my whole lunch too, so at least I didn't eat a big lunch and all the extra calories. At least thats how I'm justifying it to myself. And I had a very light dinner and worked out, so I'm hoping I didn't ruin my entire week!!
