Ok Ann while I trust your intelligence I think your math is off. There is no way that I can be in the lead! I wish that were the case but the rolls on my stomach tell me otherwise.

Okay so I was talking to Jill about this and I don't know what the winner plans to do with the money but I thought it might be cool to put the winnings back in the pot for Season 2 and we can all pay in another $10. This way the winnings for the next round would be even bigger, especially since there are a lot of other members who have shown interest in participating. I think the money will motivate people. Personally the money doesn't motivate me but the support. But I figure anyway we can get people motivated would be great.

What do you guys think?

Oh yeah and Ann would you be willing to be the host for next seaon also?

Glenda I think you should take your winnings and buy a new pair of jeans! Or whoever else wins, but I think it's gonna be Glenda.

I'll still be in for "next season" but I think whoever wins this one should take the cash :)

Yup and hopefully that will motivate people! I think motivation is the key to weight loss. Well that and discipline. LOL.

Speaking of which I really think that one of the best ways to stay on track is to avoid temptations. I cleared out everything in my kitchen that was not good for me so that even if I ever craved anything I wouldn't be able to eat it.

I also force myself to go to the gym as soon as I get home from work. Almost like it is a chore that I have to do. This way I can't slack no matter what. As soon as I get home I force myself to change into gym clothes and get my butt to the gym.

I have not gone out (to a bar or party) since we started this. I know its inevitable to avoid going to celebrations but I have turned down invites to just go out to a bar. It really has kept me on track. Let's just be honest with ourselves, if you go out to a bar or to Friday's or Chili's or someplace like that, you are more likely to binge and then the next day you will wake up hungover and have to eat something unhealthy like bread to make you feel better. And the next day you won't want to go to the gym.

The minute you slip once its so easy to continue slipping. I really think having things planned out is what helps. You have to plan ahead what your going to eat and stick to it, or else you are more likely to run to Wendy's and order your favorite value meal.

I'd totally be up for being the host again!

And Glenda, you had me worried about my spreadsheet and all of my calculations. I'd feel awful if they were wrong. BUT THEY AIN'T!! lol I just went and double-checked your first weigh-in photo, and your last, did the math over (twice) and I was right! You've been dropping some serious weight, girl, face it.

But if you really think I'm wrong, please let me know, I want to make sure my calculations are all correct!

Oh, and as for the $$, it's totally up to you guys how you want me to handle the pot and winnings. I just have it sitting in my PayPal account - so whatever works for me!

Yeah I guess its not fair if there are Season 1 girls who are done losing all their weight and don't want to participate in season 2. Nevermind then, let the winner do with her earnings whatever she likes! I think Sarah has the right idea she should buy herself a new fabulous pair of jeans to celebrate her weight loss. LOL.

Well, we could leave that up to the winner, ya know. Like if Glenda does win, and she wants to roll it over, she's the only one losing out (potentially). The rest of the gals from Season I wouldn't be getting the Season I money if they didn't win anyway. But again, it's totally up to you, the participants.

Did we decide winner takes all, or are we splitting it somehow between 1st, 2nd, 3rd place? I can't remember! We should probably make sure that's set in stone before the end of the competition.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
