Bah. I havent been doing well AT ALL. I've been feeling pretty crappy lately...

The hunny and I went out and bought PS3 and Rockband this weekend - seems to be cheering me up. lol. I'm pretty much addicted to the 'drum kit' and it is totally keeping me from hoarding the fridge when I'm at home.

We also got a free bowflex, so I'm going to try and do that 3 times a week. Having such a hard time making it to the gym between working 40 hrs/week and going to school full-time. Waaaahhhhh, play me a freakin violin. I'm a cry baby, I know it. Just not dealing with the stress that great right now.

Off to play the faux drums...Keep up all the good work ladies

Amanda - That is fantastic! What a great reason for quitting!

I am trying really hard to stay on track these days. I got one of those free 7 day passes to a gym near my work (the last day is tomorrow) so I've actually exercised a lot this week! Yippeee! BUT who knows if it's reflected in the scale.

I'm trying to decide whether I want to sign up at this gym for the next few months. I don't really like it that much - it's sort of inconvenient cause it's in a mall. BUT the whole thing that is totally working for me is this whole work out during my lunch break. It's basically the best of both words - get work out in, spend less time at work and don't cut into personal time! hee hee hee...

Anyway I think I'm going to see if I can find a different gym near my work that is better. This one is not great - though the one good thing is they have a ton of machines and this cool weird treadmill rtype thing I've never seen before that simulates hiking... it's called the Nautilus Treadclimber. Has anyone used this? It was actually more challenging than the elliptical machine (though not as fun). Supposedly it burnstwice the calories as a regular treadmill... probably true because at a low 3.0 - 3.4 mph my heart rate was way higher than on a treadmill or elliptical...

Uggh I can't believe weighin is tomorrow. I am not doing well. Okay I think if the food is not in my face I do well. But the minute my FI makes food I can't resist it. And he usually makes enough food for the week and then runs to work so there I am staring at the food in the fridge and I end up binging. I don't understand how a lot of diet plans and some of my friends say you can have a cheat day, b/c everytime I cheat even a little I do bad on the scale!

I wish FI would stop making that damn yummy turkey chilli! But its not fair of me to tell him to stop. But I really can't control myself its like an addiction.

~Shelley rockband is a total work out, so keep playing it and lose those calories.

~Jill my FSIL tried to give me my favorite dessert which is funfetti cupcakes with pink (vanilla flavores) funfetti frosting. I almost killed her. I refused to take any and I walked out the door. I was shocked I had that kind of will power, but I just knew that if I had it in my house it would be all over for me.

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow at all.

Even knowing how horrible it's going to be when I get on the scale tomorrow, I still can't stop myself from eating anything and everything!

My mom is taking me out to dinner tomorrow for my birthday too, I know I'm going to eat something bad!

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow only because I know I will have gained. I literally have LIVED at the gym this week (worked out 4 times- that's a lot for me) and today I'm so sore I can hardly move. I know I'll have put on muscle weight...scared! But that's good weight so I'm not going to freak out. My jeans fit better :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
