I realized that I do really well all week and then I have like one day (usually sunday) where I go crazy and eat too much. I don't know what my problem is. And if I don't have the food in the house I don't do bad, but FI keeps making yummy food and it really screws me up! I can't resist it when its just sitting there. Its never bad food, its healthy, but I eat way too much of it.

 

Oh and also I read that the week before your period and the week during your period you bloat and retain water which makes you not lose weight as much as you would like. Great, just great! (please note my sarcasm)

I did not so great this weekend. It was my first bridal shower in Kansas City, FI's hometown.

 

So, Friday we had junk fast food in the car (8 hr drive). Then we went to the world's best BBQ restaurant for dinner. I ate everything I could get my hands on.

 

Saturday was my shower with a freakin' awesome cake, huge chocolate dipped strawberries, mini quiches, etc. Then FBIL's FI's shower was Saturday night at a great Mexican restaurant. I resisted the chips and had grilled salmon but the 2 pomegranate margaritas were my down fall. I went to the casino was drank a beer. I did work out for 30 minutes SUnday morning, which is better than nothing.

 

I'm officially 75 days from the wedding and ready to get serious. I've called the gym to make an appointment with the personal trainer. I think I'm going to make a checklist of things I need to do everyday. Here it is so far if anyone wants to add. I think I'm going to buy some stickers and give myself gold stars for motivation!

 

Exercise:

30 minutes cardio

10+ minutes ab work

Strength training

Yoga (I really need it for stretching & relaxation)

 

Foods:

Healthy breakfast

Carbs once a day

No food after 8 pm

8+ glasses water

 

Personal:

Bleach teeth

Tanning bed

Exfoliate

Skin care regime (i've really slacked off!)

Shave legs (I have super sensitive skin so I have to get it used to the razor)

It's great that you've lost so far! With alterations being so expensive, I don't blame you. We'll still be here for moral support. If you decide you want to lose more weight we'll be around for season 2!

I usually do the same thing and if it happens on saturday, then sunday is usually not very good either.

Although I have to say, I have done crappy since our last weigh in, I start the day good and then its just downhill after that.

And even though I told him not to, DH brought me home a b-day cake today. I just ate a big piece of it and I'm bringing the rest to my dads tomorrow because I don't want it here.

I'm going to gain like 5 pounds this week, this is horrible!

In good news, DH wants to get the P90X videos and we're going to start doing them together. It will help so much to have someone to work out with!
