Erica, that's great self control!!! I know I couldn't stop at just two. that's why there's no chocolate in our house. Me and DH would be all over that.

Don't be too hard on yourself Yari. You do need to cheat every now and then. If you don't you're just going to be torturing yourself.

I couldn't believe it, I felt like I did SO horrible this week, proof that maybe sometimes we really are too hard on ourselves.

Good luck with your weigh ins girls!

Anyway, I'll update my weight later today, just thought I'd let you girls know what I've been up to...

good morning girls!

i lost 1LB. I am happy about it b/c i am surprised i even lost anything - with being sick and not really exercising at all (and having four thousand social events this past weekend) i was sure i was going to stay the same or gain.

i am so thankful to everyone's support - you girls are all AWESOME!!!!!

Wow Sarah! You kicked butt! Congrats on the loss!!!

I lost 1 pound, I am so bummed...but I know that it is better than nothing. I am working out hard and eating right, not sure what is going on. I am going to continue at it and won't give up. I really expected to lose a lot more, at least five pounds. Sigh.

I do feel a lot better and have more energy, so that is good news.

Dont be bummed Yari... The second week is typically hard b/c you dont see the numbers like you do the first week. Keep it up, a pound is still awesome. Plus you feel better which goes to show your body is making changes for the better.... so keep it up, everything will pay off in the end!

Thanks Sarah!

It is hard not to be disappointed. I want to see results fast...it must of been that damn bread I ate last night. LOL!

The good part is I didn't lose any muscle mass, only pure fat. Yay!

so, not a very happy weigh in!

I gained!smile35.gif

I knew traveling this weekend was bad, but now I've got strep throat and have been in bed for 3 days! The only thing I can eat are saltines and giant slushes from Sonic. I haven't had this much sugar or salt in I don't know how long. I also haven't managed to drag myself any farther than the distance from the couch to the bed!

Let's cross our fingers for next week! Why couldn't it have been a stomach flu?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
