If you go and look at the photographer prices in Cancun you will see that it is SUPER expensive to get a package. For example I am paying 2000 dollars for mine.
The hour thing is what I'm trying to find out because I can't get a direct answer on that which is why I've sent her the email saying we have him for 20 mins? From her "special package" I get the feeling it is just the ceremony and a couple after, that is what i want to know. If its for an hour thats fine not got a problem with that. Regarding buying more pics i've emailed the photographer last week and i'm waiting for a response. Yeah I know the photographers are expensive but as Dreams has a no external suppliers ban now I can't do that anyway. At least if you are paying the $2000 you know what you are getting at the min I'm struggling to find out exactly what I am paying for.

I think it probably is. If you've paid sep you get the 1 to 2 hours

Hi Ladies,

Yesterday Claudia confirmed for me that Claudia Rodriguez was an approved vendor for Dreams, and that I could just get a longer video instead of the picture package. I was concerned because I just got my contract on Thursday, and the photography and video portion said "ceremony only". I am very happy that I can use Citalli from Claudia Rodriguez' company. I agree that the photo packages are expensive, but they are still less than what I would pay here in Florida.

Here is the response I got about the pics:

The 50 pictures you have included on your wedding package covers the

ceremony and then a photo studio by the beach and different locations of the

hotel.

thanks

So I am relieved cuz thats what I was hoping for.

I am SO relieved to hear this bc that's exactly what I was hoping to do: use Claudia Rodriguez for photography and then "trade in" the pics included with my package for a longer video.

Susan, did you get details on how long/how much coverage you will get with your "new" video package? The one that you are getting because you are not getting the pictures I mean.

Also, does anyone know who Dreams uses for videography?

THANKS!!

I got my contract in November thats also when it was arranged, and yes we have the Dreams Ultimate Package for that price. I cant imagine it would be 50 shots of a 20 min ceremony that just seems nuts to me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
