Ladies after my ranting this was the response i got from Daniella:

Hola Joanna,

Well the thing is that this policy just come from Managment. We cant continue accepting more and more external suppliers, thats why from now on we are not confirming any day pass for external suppliers without exceptions talking about photographers, videographers, florists, djs, etcetera.

Thanks for understanding,

Daniella Castillo

* I just asked her for a list of vendors we can use so lets see what she saids NOW sad.gif

Hi, Im new to this forum and noticed that Dreams Cancun seems to be th most popular place for weddings. I am considering to book my wedding there. From reading your responses about outside vendors....its making me feel that maybe I need go to another resort who allows outside vendors. Please correct me if I'm wrong...is this place worth it? I need your help in this so I can make my final decision. Thanks everyone!

Here is the WC response to my latest rant:

huh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gif?? Is a new policy and I have to follow it. Thats all. Thanks for understanding.

Thats actually the only vendors we use, I mean DJ we have the one of th hotel, and florist as well the florist works for us and also make all the flowers of the hotel,

Thanks

Feel free to contact me back for further questions.

PS-thats why we cant continue doing exceptions as all the brides in the wedding forums talk to each other and share information, which is fine, but believe me we cant continue permiting external people.

I gave up on this a long time ago. I am just gonna go with the flow and let WC do her thing. I have not heard any negatives about their suppliers I just do not like to HAVE to do anything. LOL!smile124.gif

Atta girl!
I have said this before and I know it's hard advice to take since I couldn't myself...
Once I got there I realized I worried too much about nothing!
Worry about the things you can do yourself... invitations, favours, attire, etc.
They really do make sure they are giving you the wedding you want and they are good at what they do.
Claudia was the sweetest and most patient person, especially for the load she carries there.

Good advice! My FI said I should be more worried about our insane families getting together!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
