I am in the process of doing invites. The person who is creating the invites, I ask will the invites be on cardstock, I want cardstock, the reply was "they will be on nice paper." Is that really giving me what I asked for? To me nice paper and cardstock is two different things.

Ask them what does he mean by nice paper? Tell him what weight you want, such as heavy cardstock and ask him to show you options of the paper. The ink can vary depending on the type of paper. Is it glossy? matte? You get the idea.

I would definitely tell them exactly what you want! Maybe you could see a sample or two first before you order the whole sha-bang?

I agree with everyone else...ask them exactly what is "nice" paper.

Maybe you could ask them to show you a sample first before they make all of them.

I agree as well, ask for a sample. Better safe then sorry!

Exactly, these are your wedding invitations, not some random invite for goodness sakes, get a sample and some clarification. I hate when people dont answer the question asked.
