The Knot has a pretty good one that they give you when you create an account. Of course it's going to have everything on the list that a bride who has a year to do it all but it gets the basics in there and you can cross out the ones you don't need.

Welcome to the forum! I am sure your wedding is going to be fantastic - and it'll be crazy doing it in a month but lots of fun!

Here's your first list:

1. Book a photographer/videographer or both. Find a couple people who are both available on your date and in your price range and then pick whoever's portfolio you like more.

2. Go try on dresses and figure out what kind you want to buy (sounds like you've started this already)

3. If you think it will be helpful for guests create a website - either free or one where you pay - due to the short timeframe try and find one that allows guests to RSVP online! Skip the extras and just get the basics up there!

4. Get menus from your venue and pick your food/drinks asap.

First of all, Hi! and welcome to the forum! Secondly, it might help if you hire a Wedding Coordinator in the place in which you're getting married. Since you don't have alot of time, and you don't know the local vendors, someone there might be able to help. This way you should be able to just tell that person what you want, and have them do the stressing for you :)

You can also try, this website Real Simple Weddings Planner | Celebrations : RealSimple.com and pick up the Real Simple Wedding magazine, it has alot of helpful information. And lots and lots of lists! :)

Please let us know if you need anything else....and just breathe, your wedding will be beautiful and perfect!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
