For you Canadian gals ordering the pashminas, do you know what shipping costs will be? I know you can save duty if the package is marked as a gift with a value of like $10, but wondered what you thought the shipping would be....I need 30! Thanks a million!

FYI, shipping is expensive to Canada. A shipment of 20 pashminas is around $25 US.

However, I really urge you to think a little bit longer about ordering from this company. Right now, they have $100 and are holding it hostage from us! They no longer answer phone calls or e-mails and really... it's terrible customer service.

I would suggest you go to Chinatown instead and get them for the same price. Then you don't have to deal with this BS that we got stuck with.

I'll bump the order for the Newbies!

It looks like the vendor isn't going to give us any big breaks on the order. I would say be prepared to pay the listed price on the website and if we can get it cheaper, great! Right now we only have about 150 pieces

If you have already placed an order, I will get the total sent to you via PM and you can remit payment with PayPal. **PLEASE use a debit account (checking/savings, etc). I get charged a percentage if you put it on a credit card.

I will be placing the order this week, no later than FRIDAY the 7TH MARCH.

WARNING: Trisha and I placed a 500+ order with this company and are having an extremely hard time getting any responses from them. They no longer answer their phone and we've sent numberous emails with no response. Please DO NOT use this vendor, or be forewarned if you choose to do so. Right now, FashionUnic has about $100 that they haven't sent the goods to us for.

I forgot to mention that we actually had to resort to threatening that we will contact the BBB if we don't hear from them by Wednesday.

And by 500+ she means 500+ pieces. This is almost a $2,000 order!!! And NO response... at ALL! I would NOT trust this company to purchase your pashminas from.

I'll get PMs sent to everyone that I had listed, but it sounds like this is not the way to go for pashminas!

I will try and find another vendor that can handle bulk orders. If anyone finds someone else, please let me know!

Thanks,

Erin

I'll have a look online and see if I can find another company. I agree... I don't think we should be supporting this company.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
