I can't find out if we need our birth certificates translated or not or if there is anything else we need.
Also has anyone heard from Cecilia? I have e-mailed her more than once over the last two months and haven't heard a word. I am getting nervous- my wedding is in 3 months and we haven't planned a thing with the resort.

I can't remember the name of the woman that does hair at the resort but I do remember hearing that she does not speak English and lots of pictures are a must, she takes a long time so make sure you plan accordingly and if you have others wanting their hair done you need to let them know in advance so they can bring others personnel in to accommadate. Whether or not this is still true ... who knows! With all that being said, I believe brides where happy after it was all said and done.
At this point with the fee, they basically give you no other option unless you go off site to get it done.

I have a travel agent with a contract and found out the hotel at this moent is running a promotion for $200 less then what my rates are. I just got those changed and what a difference it makes. I hope your guest are taking advantage of this. a family going to my wedding is going for 4 days with a baby my orginal quote was $1400, the families new quote 940 HUGE DIFFERENCE. hope this helps all brides

Also, is the family with a baby $1400 per person? We are getting rates for around $1179 pp for 5 nights for double occupancy and $1354 for single. Is the promotion only if you book rooms with them directly or does it matter?

We've ordered koozies with our logo on it and got Spanish for Dummies since they were $1 at Target but other than that, I'm thinking hangover kit (Advil, Pepto, Imodium AD ... great threads to find places to get them), key/tip holder, a mexico keychain and maybe some playing cards possibly.
