When you start communicating about details, I've found it's best to give her a numbered list of questions and do this at least a week in advance before you the need answers. She'll answer directly to each question with a detailed response. Try not to let it discourage you though. From what the other Paradisus brides have said, she gets the job done and it turns out beautifully.

My wedding ceremony is at 4:30pm, but it's in mid-November. The sunsets earlier and we want to have a pre-sunset ceremony, with the sun going down during cocktail hour into dinner.

    Hope this helps!

thanks so much that is super helpful. Hopefully she can get back to me as far as a time for the wedding i know (i googled) the sun sets between 6:45-6:58pm for the summer. I don't want a dark wedding, I'd like something 5pm or so. Hopefully she can give us this if not I dont know whats next I don't want to change the date but I would like to change the hotel. I now am in love with the Karsma hotel but have a contract with the Paradisus and I'm trying to make the best of it. Since last friday my travel agent haSbeen trying to get a hold of her. I am going to give it until this Friday before I get upset.

I totally went through this too. Hang in there though! She will get back to you. From what I understand the resort only does one wedding per day, so if your date is available, you'll get to choose any time of day you want.

      Good luck!

Invites and wording will be a piece of cake!! Getting the location and such set is definitely the hardest part.

Take a peek at verseit.com. They have lots and lots of ideas.

        Happily married since 2008

The cost per person for the reception depends on which package you choose. The Fantasy Package is $35 per person over 20 but doesn't include a reception just a coctail party. The Aqua Package is $90 per person over 20 and includes a reception with a coctail 1/2 hour and 3 course served dinner and The Chill Out Chic Package is $105 per person over 20 and you get a coctail 1/2 hour and a buffet dinner. There are other things included in the packages as well. I have a list of the packages and prices and what they include if you want a copy let me know. I believe you can also do it a la carte, but I don't know the prices if you do it that way right now.

              Hope this helps.

is it possible for me to get that? that would give me an idea of what package to get, perla gave me the wedding date and time and hasn't sent me anything since.

I am trying to just take a step back from it but at least an idea would be nice.

I'm pretty sure I posted the packages a while back. If you skim through this thread it should be there somewhere....they also have the different packages on their web page. Just look for Romance at Paradisus
