Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies,

I'm a DT bride who MAY (or may not) be moving. I know I saw Perla's email in here somewhere but now I can't find it. can someone send it to me? I just want to see if my wedding date is already taken or not and if this is an option in the instance I'm moving.

THANK YOU!!!

Hi everyone! I am weighing the option of having our wedding at Paradisus, which we absolutely LOVE and have had some of our best vacations there. I think I'm finally caught up on all 770+ posts on this thread and have to thank all of you for being such an incredible resource!!! I have one big question that is looming over our decision to book: On one travel site I seem to recall seeing that if you are doing a legal ceremony, Paradisus requires that you arrive 3 business days (excluding arrival day!) prior to the ceremony. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Any insight would be helpful. (Over a week ago I emailed the WC and TA but no responses..grrr)

Thanks!!

That's true but I was told that it varies by resort and that most resorts set the date limitations so that they can get everything done when they want to. My resort is bending their 3 day policy a bit for me as I am arriving at 10 p.m. on Feb 16/09 and getting married on Feb 19/09 at 4 p.m.

Hope that helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
