Hi Avong - we were going to stay at Paradisus for our site visit and they offer a discount and will put one night's charge toward the wedding as a credit to you.

It's not bad but I think they can do better - I know of some other people who have had their entire stay comp'd so you may have to negotiate with them.

You can go directly through Cecilia for this.

Hi girls! Just checking in! We had the mariachi band (6 piece) and it was absolutely amazing! Probably one of the best parts of the reception - everyone kept raving about how wonderful they were. We used the one through the resort and yes it was about $1000 bucks... sad.gif

Finally got a hold of Cecilia had to call her but she "promised" to email me some figures, we are doing the cocktail hour friday before welcome dinner. Sort of excited sort of nervous we have 37 guest so far and 7 rooms pending to be booked who knows who'll book them cause we still are waiting on 20 something RSVP's to be returned. But I have my DJ, my photographer and a dress now if i can just find my shoes and vail.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
