Paradisus Riviera Brides - POST HERE!

Hey everyone!

 

It's been a while since I last posted. I'm getting married on April 9th at Paradisus and I'm also trying to get a hold of Cecilia and haven't heard anything from her. I just sent another email to her. Perla told me that December would be when I'd start picking out the specifics for my wedding and December has come and gone and still nothing. I'm getting a bit concerned and I'm hoping Cecilia responds soon, otherwise I'm thinking of possibly trying to find someone down in the Riviera Maya that can help plan my wedding and will be easier to get a hold of. My photographer (Elizabeth Medina) gets back to me within a day, how can it take over a week for Cecilia to do the same?

 

I hope someone gets a hold of her soon! She needs to know that in her job, with all the weddings Paradisus puts on, she better be able to hit the ground running!

I really hope you guys start getting some responses! If you have a TA or going through destination weddings.com - there is another woman they go through that is out of Canada that could possible help. This is ridiculous that you arent getting responses!!

Hello all! I am new to the forum but just booked my wedding for Oct. 1 at the Paradisus, so I am excited to chat with you all! I am working with a wedding specialist from Destination Weddings and I know she was having a difficult time getting ahold of anyone at the Paradisus this past week. I am hoping that isn't an indication of things to come! Hopefully you were able to get a hold of someone.

I sent Cecilia an e-mail on January 2nd and I hadn't heard anything from her so on Jan 9 I sent her a follow-up e-mail. She responded that day and said she was busy but she would be answering all my questions and getting back to me on Jan 10. It's the morning of the 11th and I haven't heard from her yet.

That's just wonderful that she has responded to some of you, but I still haven't heard anything and I am leaving on Saturday. Grrr!!! I am going to call today, but I much prefer to have things in writing then just verbal. Stresssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! I think we are booking Paradisus for our November wedding!!! Can not wait!!!

I spoke to Daniela on the phone today - bc no one was answering emails and she said she is going to send me the info to give the deposit to secure the date - how long did this take any of you to get from her? I spoke to her this morning and still haven't received anything! I just want to set my date.......

We are having ours November 13th! Have you considered going through an agent instead of doing it yourself? We are using destinationweddings.com and it seems a lot easier than doing everything ourselves... look into it, its def. worth the $50.00 deposit.

So you are the other wedding on the 13th!!! haha we are getting married that day too - we hope!!!! So funny!
I looked into using Luxe and have my TA to work with but I will def look into destinationweddings.com.

I am so confused how are they going to do two weddings? That is crazy... any ideas out there? lol
