Recommended Posts

hello girls,

I haven't been on here lately but just spent all day catching up on your posts. As always so much great info!! We decided to move our May 15th wedding to Oct just b/c people were freaking out BUT that leaves us w/out a photographer as the one we were initially going to use can't make it in Oct. HELP!!!! Del Sol & Elizabeth Medina are booked. Who else is there I could call that you girls could recommend? Does anybody know how MexicanWeddingPhotos (Paradisus's on-site photographer) arehuh.gif I wasn't all that impressed w/ their web-site compared to all the others.

Help!!!!!

Hello,
You should check out Ajua weddings! They have a ton of different music/entertainment options at prices alot more reasonable then the Paradisus even with the 300 outside vendor fee tacked on.
Just a thought

Thanks cac...I contacted them and they told me they do not provide their services, unless you are using them as your wedding co-ordinator. : (

Wish I could help you with the photog...but I think I am bringing mine down from here. Good luck! I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

That's bizarre they told you that b/c they are providing me w/ my mariachi's & my violinist? Maybe it was my bad and I misunderstood what you were looking for. Sorry

Cac...wish I could help...I'm bringing my photogs from here but maybe one of the other girls can help you.

SMB..I wanted fire dancers also but it seems like we can't get them at the Paradisus...let us know if you find some other performance group. I would love to provide something like that four our guests.

Lauren....YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! SO SO SO excited for you! That is fantastic news. It sounds like things may be returning to normal at least normalish!!

I guess planning a wedding wasn't enough on my plate, FH and I put on offer in on a house last night and it was accepted! Feeling such a range of emotions, from pure excitement, to 2nd guessing myself, to nausea! My FMIL's 1st words to FH were that she thinks we overpaid and rushed into it (ummm...what comparables did you look at?). FH was really upset, which upset me. Even if those are your thoughts, keep them to yourself and congratulate us. Grrrr!!!

Sarah, I'll let you know what I find out about some type of performance (especially since we are both named Sarah!). I think it would be such a nice surprise for everyone.

Great news Lauren! Getting really excited for you!

SMB&CRZ - we must be wedding/life twins! We are in Toronto as well and closed on our new home 3 weeks before we left for the wedding (with some of the same comments about price etc!!!!)

Don't worry - it will be busy but you will get through it! Where abouts did you guys buy? Maybe we will be neighbours!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
