Paradisus Riviera Brides - POST HERE!

I cannot really speak to the make-up as I had my own artist (who was a guest do mine). In terms of hair - it is Leticia but we had two up dos and two wash and styles and Perla was happy to bring in additional stylists - you will need to ensure that you let her know this well in advance - I told her what time we would all be coming and she set everything up.

In terms of price - If I recall correctly the trial was about $45 bucks and the updo about $70 - I will need to go back and check my records on this. Perla can give you these prices as well.

The white fabric for the ceremony and reception was something that we did ask for and I think it's pretty customary - I don't think there were any extra charges for that...

Yes I know that is the policy as i'm getting all services from outside... Photographer, DJ, and Florists You are lucky that you got such great prices based on 2007 rates. Now everything is very expensive and even after paying the 300 dollars fee i'm still getting a better deal then i would if i had gone with the hotel. And the great thing about the florist is that she can get you anything like decor flowers musicians etc.... and because it's all the same company you only pay a one time fee of 300.00 so in the end i am saving money. Missy did you get my private message about your OOT bags? I was just wondering where you got them. I also live in Toronto and was hoping to maybe get the same.

Thanks Again.

Hello,

Yes she does, that is what i'm doing buying single flowers and then putting my centerpieces together. She also gives you the option of you picking up the flowers at her shop so you don't have to pay the 300.00 dollar fee. Iam getting them delivered because i'm also getting musicians from her.

What type of musicians are you getting? I am interested in getting a small group just to cover our 10 reception dinner. We're only having 10 people in total so we dont want to do the DJ thing, but I want to have a dance with my dad and my new husand!

If you could share prices/options/ideas I would appreciate it!

I'm getting the violin Player for my ceremony and a conch horn player, which will also announce my entrance ( a little mexican tradition from back in the day)... that will cost me 500.00 dollars for 45 minutes. For you since it's such a small party and you don't have a DJ i would probably go with the mariachis or a band not sure what the rates for these are but it is cheaper then the hotel i know that... Or maybe the I pod option... I have read that a few people have used this. But it does not hurt for you to e-mail Julieta and ask her tell her your budget and she is good at coming up with something trust me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
