Paradisus Riviera Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

OLA Paradisus girls! We arrived home a few hours ago from Mexico. I will say bar none that not only was it the best week of my life - but the wedding day and every last detail was perfect! Perla and Daniela were absolutely phenomenal - every detail, every request, was perfect.

I am of course working on a review (since I know how important it is!) - I will tell you though that you should feel so awesome about the resort you have picked - I was told again and again that it was th best wedding, best food, ceremony, music etc. which is so awesome to hear!

Welcome aboard Julia and Ryan - I am working on the answers to the Qs you sent me which I will send you tomorrow. In terms of the package costs - what we found to be the cheapest was to work off of the wish package and add on what we wanted (b/c every change to an existing package had a cost)

All the appetizer packages have one hour of open bar included and all the dinner packages include 3 hours of service including unlimited bar service. I am excited just thinking about what I will include in my review - we used DJ Victor SWANK and he was unbelievable - had us all cutting a rug into the wee hours of the night!

Hopefully my review will answer questions but feel free to ask away!

For those of you who have been down to Paradisus already, can you tell me if the lobby has info for all of the activities in the area? My brother is freaking out that I'm not planning on telling people what there is to do and how to get to it/ how much it costs etc. I'm figuring the resort has all of this info and can help my guests get wherever they want to go. Am I right? We did put some info up on our website linking them to Tulum, Xcaret and Xel-ha, but he thinks I need to do more and I have enough on my plate right now.

ps~ Missy I was looking at your pics again and wanted to tell you that your flowers were AMAZING! I'm not normally a fan of callas, but yours were absolutely gorgeous.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
