Dunno yet. We're having dinner at L'Hermitage, so it will depend on the table set ups. But it will be something simple - like a single pink anthurium with some baby's breath or something along those lines - the tables aren't that big.

Outside for the cocktails and dancing, I've got no idea. I'm actually considering just a bottle of champagne in a nice ice bucket, with a few flower petals on the table. Whatever we do, it will be pretty simple... you know me... far more concerned with the food, the music and the booze than the stuff on the tables!

Frankly, though, if you want it set and settled right away, call. It's ALWAYS faster. +52 998.872.83.83 ext. 8046. This is Elisa's number, and goes to the automated system at the hotel. As soon as they pick up just dial 8046. I usually find it easiest to reach her between 10:30 and 11:30 AM Central time.
Becks, thank you so much for the info and tips on calling. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back. How on Earth will I be able to wait until the Fall to get married if I am so excited now? :) Thanks again!

There is a second gazebo, that's bigger, and a bit more private (but not much).

The gazebo itself is about 15' in diameter, but the walkway is short, and you can seat people at the end of the walkway. It was offered to us as a back up area in the event of rain (the seating area is covered). Just note that it's right off the main lobby, so you would have onlookers.

You can see one photo of it in part 2 of my review (it's not a great photo). I took it from the area where you would have guests seated. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t15195

ANy questions let me know! I didn't include the set up for the IPOD cause all the packages include ceremony music and we are leaning towards a DJ!
Hi Missy-
Could you be so kind to email me your spreadsheets? I am SUCH a spreadsheet person and would love to see how the packges compare. I don't have enough points to download things yet. All of your advice is much appreciated. Many thanks!

So, I booked Mannia! Yippee!

However, for those of you interested in using Swank (or at least seeing what they can do), I sent Victor a note last week indicating that Mannia was much cheaper, even with the supervisor fees, etc. I gave him 3 business days and never heard back. But today when I sent him the outside vendor contract so that he could book the supervisor and arrange power, etc., here's his reply:

" Sorry to read this, I was ready to improve my proposal and offer yo a better deal."

So he WILL move his prices when you've got something to leverage.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
