Paradisus Riviera Brides - POST HERE!

Is anyone using the DJ included in the resort Divine package? Dj Swank? I wanted to know his pricing on extra hours and a screen etc.. and he has yet to get back to me after emailing him over a month ago. I'm debating using an outside dj at this point!!

Past Brides..how did you get you DIY stuff to the resort?  Like centerpieces, etc..did you pack it all or did anybody ship it right to the resort?  I'm guessing that is pretty expensive..

We plan on doing Thermal Coffee Mugs - which would be tough to pack cause of space and cost of luggage these days.  Also, our centerpieces are going to be colored bottles...would be even more tough to pack cause of them being glass...???

Any thoughts/ideas??

P.S.  Love you guys!!!  msnwink.gif

We packed everything with us as we've heard of so many horror stories but then again we did not bring that much. We took a large cardboard box and just filled it with stuff and checked it.  Make sure to bring receipts with you and read the the thread on this as it came in handy!

If you do decide to ship, it will be really expensive to ship and get back to you and if it gets stuck in customs, you are basically screwed. So just prepare yourself to do without if you decide to ship it.

Hey Ladies,

OMG so I dont have too much time to write at the moment, but I want to let you know that we had our wedding on the 6th and it went amazingly. I could not have asked for anything more. Everything went smoothly and the little minor things that didnt, went completely unnoticed. They are crazy here and they take care of everything. As long as you are not asking for unrealistic things then they can make it all happen for you.

When I get back I will for sure post my experience here at Now Sapphire. For now, if you have any questions just feel free to let me know

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
