I am totally lost... what is this webinar you guys are talking about. I have had zero contact from the resort, and they are not getting in touch with my email. I tried calling them to speak to someone, and everytime I am getting transferred through different numbers.. then they all of a sudden hang up on me. I have tried litterally 3 times to get through, and before i make bad decisions of what I really wanted to tell them I gave up.

So any info on this webinar guys would be much appreciated. I am totally getting tossed around here.. So annoyed....

The webinar was held on Satuday by Tammy the host of this site with Daniela from the resort and Pilar from Jade.  I think Tammy was recording it and going to post it somewhere on here. Basically, it went through the packages and different ceremony site locations, etc.

She and Tammy both did discuss how they prioritize and that the weddings that are closer in date get priority, etc and they typically don't need to start planning flowers, etc until a month or less out.

Trust me, I understand your pain. I'm leaving in 2 weeks and still don't have any clue! ha

Hi everyone...the more I research both NOW Jade and NOW Sapphire, the more I'm leaning towards Sapphire. I like the ceremony and reception locations better I think. Has anyone been to both resorts and can offer your perspective? Is anyone having their ceremony on the "beach deck"? I'd rather NOT get married in the sand, I know I know...I'm at a beach...but I want to wear cute shoes! :)

annkho - I sent them an email and it took them a couple days before sending the wedding package info. I asked about available dates and still nothing...I'm hoping my travel agent has better luck! I'm at a computer all day so it's hard not to get antsy!!

avong1228 - I hope you don't mind that I took a peek at your website, it's awesome! I love the style of it..what service did you use? That's one of the next things on our list to do...

hi there-

i am actually getting married at the now sapphire on february 19, 2011.  we actually haven't been there before but our best friends went there on their honeymoon and they loved it and we have some other friends who have been there before also and loved it.  i really didn't look into the now jade too much because once i saw the now sapphire (which was paradisus at the time we started looking) i just fell in love with the overall look of the resort, it has sort of a spanish feel to it which i really liked.  we are getting married on the beach and then having our cocktail hour and reception on the beach terrace (so i can switch into my cute shoes! ha!).

good luck with all your planning! :)

we are excited to be getting married in february, it will be a nice little break from the cold weather in new jersey for our family and friends.  so far we have about 34 people booked including my fiance and i but we are expecting a few more to be booking, so we are guessing around 50 people or so which is a pretty good number.  it will be here before we know it i am so excited! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
