Paradisus Riviera Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I would definitely call. I have the # at work so I'll post it tomorrow. Especially if you want to do a site visit.

I think we all are in the same boat of not getting many responses lately. I did get the sales manager call me and she basically said they are all trying to learn how things are working now and that its right in the middle of the busiest wedding season for them, to give them some time but assured me that everything will be taken care of.

I'm going in July so I'm trying not to stress about them not responding in hopes to pretty much plan everything while I'm there. It is frustrating but I've heard from brides getting married at other resorts, this is par for the course.

Trying to stay positive and I think by the time we get married, things will get worked out.

hi amy

My fiance and I really enjoyed looking through your photos. I would like to know if you could provide me with your photographers info, and any other information that you can give on the service that you rec'd. Our wedding is at paradisus (now sapphire) in Dec and I am trying to find a camera man as well as a videographer.

The colors you selected pink and orange were amazing too. Looked great in the shots =)

Angie,
I looked through yours and Blake's wedding website. Could you please let me know how you did that. Is it a blog?... Or would I need to be pretty techy to know how to set this up for my guests. I find there is a lot of communication that I would like to do with them, but being in different time zones it would be easier online.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated here.
Thanks!! Annette

We used Moments That Matter Photography. They are a Canadian couple who moved to Mexico last year for their business. They are based out of Playa Del Carmen but will travel anywhere in the Cancun area. They were absolutely fabulous to work with!! I love our photos and so does everyone else that we have shown them to! The pictures really depict our true emotions from that day.

They are very quick to respond to e-mails, I usually receive a response back within a day or two.

They had never been to Paradisus before so they showed up at the resort almost an hour early to walk the grounds and choose locations that they thought would make a good setting. They split up after that and Lori came and took pictures of us girls getting ready while Lincoln took pictures of the guys. I didn't even notice them during the ceremony but that's probably because I was a little preoccupied. They are open to any suggestions for your group and couple shots if you have something specific that you want. And if you don't really know what you want, they have a lot of great ideas. My husband and I are not very photogenic people and usually do not like ourselves in pictures but we think that we look pretty good in those pictures. They weren't there for the full reception but they were able to capture all the different events. They were even nice enough to stay an extra 30 mins to capture the dancing.

We had our CD's with a slideshow put to music and all 600+ pictures in less then 2 weeks! They have already designed our photo album and we just have to finalize everything before it goes to get printed.

I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are very talented and again were amazing to work with!

Check them out at MEXICO Destination Wedding Photography, Wedding Photojournalism throughout the Mayan Riviera

Hi Ladies!!! I feel like I'm always apologizing for being MIA... but I do miss and love you!

Yes, they can. We added a little "lounge area" to the terrace for our reception - it was great!

Hi Sara! Welcome to the party! There are a bunch of photos of the resort and setups in my slideshow - Chris and Rebecca's Wedding by Nathaniel Thompson Photography

Hi Rebecca, I just went through your photos and they were amazing. It really looked like an amazing time. I have been going through other girls photos to really see how the resort is setting the place up.

Thanks for setting up the link for us girls that are still awaiting the big day

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
