Hi everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. I am freaking out a little bit. Our wedding is in a month and we haven't figured anything out. We are trying to figure out if we want to try to go with one of the old packages or if we want to go with one of the new one, but I have not been able to get anyone there to answer my questions. Does anyone have any information about what food is included in the Platinum or Silver wedding reception/cocktail hour. Also do you know the cost per person beyond the 25 included?

I am starting to think that Cecilia doesn't like me. She has never responded to one of my e-mails since she took over. Daniela has occasionally responded to me, but Cecilia has never. I understand waiting for a response, but never responding is starting to get to me. I called today, but no one was there and the voice mailbox is full.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since about two months ago, I've only dealt with Daniela. I would definitely call tomorrow and if you still can't get a response, see if your TA can help at all. When I was having trouble getting responses my TA got his contact to talk to the manager and ever since communication has been better. Not great, but better. I have the same questions as you but my wedding is 5 months away.

Try not to stress but definitely keep calling until you can get answers.

Share if you do get any answers!

If it makes you feel better, I haven't dealt with Daniela at all. Maybe they just split the brides between the two of them so that's why you only hear from Daniela. I would do like Angie said and keep trying to call. Are you using ext. 8046? I bet that voicemail fills up daily with questions about the new resort so I'd just keep trying.

I'm sure they are just swamped with May/June brides so I'll probably just leave the emails and contacting until a bit later but do let us know what you find out. Good Luck!

I've been working with Adriana for one of my brides and she's been very helpful and responsive. I did ask her about potential renovations and she indicated that there are no planned major renovations at this time, the biggest change will be the names of the restaurants, as the current names are sol melia brands, so they will be changing to AM brands.

Other than that it's a beautiful resort and I don't think there will be too much to change!

Hope that helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
