I can't find out if we need our birth certificates translated or not or if there is anything else we need.

Also has anyone heard from Cecilia? I have e-mailed her more than once over the last two months and haven't heard a word. I am getting nervous- my wedding is in 3 months and we haven't planned a thing with the resort.
We did a legal ceremony and that's all we needed. In terms of birth certs, we needed what called the "long version" (not just your wallet card size) and I just applied to our Provincial Ministry of Health for those!

I don'thave Daniela's but here is the one Adriana gave me romance2@paradisusrivieracancun.com.mx

I can't remember the name of the woman that does hair at the resort but I do remember hearing that she does not speak English and lots of pictures are a must, she takes a long time so make sure you plan accordingly and if you have others wanting their hair done you need to let them know in advance so they can bring others personnel in to accommadate. Whether or not this is still true ... who knows! With all that being said, I believe brides where happy after it was all said and done.

At this point with the fee, they basically give you no other option unless you go off site to get it done.

Jewels, 4 months ... so exciting!!! Have you started doing your OOT bags yet? If so, what are you doing if you don't mind me asking?

Also, is the family with a baby $1400 per person? We are getting rates for around $1179 pp for 5 nights for double occupancy and $1354 for single. Is the promotion only if you book rooms with them directly or does it matter?

I haven't really started mine since I don't know how many people we will have yet but just trying to get some ideas.

We've ordered koozies with our logo on it and got Spanish for Dummies since they were $1 at Target but other than that, I'm thinking hangover kit (Advil, Pepto, Imodium AD ... great threads to find places to get them), key/tip holder, a mexico keychain and maybe some playing cards possibly.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
