They've also confirmed the date with me, but my date is Aug 2009, and people are just start sending deposit for May & June next year.

I guess they might come and ask me around July or Aug.

I'm just worried if I dont pay a deposit all of a sudden my "confirmed day" will be overlooked...that would be horrible!

If you have your Q&A in and your date confirmed you should be ok. She will need to send you the contract before you can pay anything anyway

She must knew I was talking about this because she replied to my emails yesterday. LOL!!!! There is still a lot of info that questionable about my contract.

First i don't understand why to upgrade my flowers that are included in a package I purchased I should have to pay an additional $120-200 just for my flowers alone! Plus why is it that so many people have been told so many different things?!

I also am a little nervous about the whole deposit and contract issue. On the web site it clearly states that they do not consider your date confirmed until you sign the contract and they received the deposit, so I wanted to get these things done as soon as possible. Since day one I have been trying to give her my money to assure my date was saved for me, but she doesn't want it! She told me not to send any money until the contract was complete and she does not seem to be in any rush to complete the contract. I told her my concern over our date being reserved for us and she confirmed with me that despite the lack of a contract and a deposit being received by Dreams the date has been reserved for me. So I can do nothing but take her on her word. I have recently petitioned Jennifer, the TA that is on here, to assist me with booking and she has told me she is also trying to confirm our date so hopefully she will help move things along.
My date is in May 2009 so I too do not think there is any rhym or reason behind when they request the deposits.

I'm with ya, I was all excited about everything at first and now it's like whatever. Gets frustrating when there is no communication. But like you said when they need money they know how to reach you.
The one she made up for me last month did have anything as far as a photograher on it but she said she would send me a revised copy so hopefully that one will have a little more info about it.

Thanks everyone for the replies, at least I am not alone in having this worry. For those of you who will be making your deposit at the end of May, has your contract been finalized?

 

My wedding contract does only have the photos in the ceremony section, I will have to look into that further as we would want to have some photos of the reception as well.
