Hi everyone..I am going on a site visit trip, leaving this weekend and I have not been able to get any reply from Dreams Cancun or Dreams Tulum...and I want to decide on a resort next week! I know that they are busy but its making me so frustrated because I looooove Dreams Cancun resort and all of your wedding photos and really want to meet with Claudia (or anyone) but they won't return emails/calls. Any advice? Do I just show up and try to talk to someone?

Well...I'm super new too this all!! I'm a Dreams Cancun Bride to be!! Still waiting on a set date, but hopefully Feb.6/2009. Any advise that you guys have...pls help!! I've priced it all out, and it's more expensive then I had planned...but it seems totally worth it. The resort is amazing, and it has nothing but TOP reviews. Did any of you have problems getting more then 10 rooms for guests booked??

It is frustrating waiting, but they will get back to you. The WC get hundreds of emails everyday and this is also a really busy time of year for them with weddings, so it can be slow getting a response. But don't worry you will hear back!

As far as the site visit, have you tried calling on the phone? sometimes thats is easier to reach them, but you could try just stopping at the resort and depending on if they are available or not maybe they can meet with you.

Let me know if I can help with any questions.

Alright...I'm trying to figure out when to start booking with the Travel agent for the best rates for my guests. I'm a Feb.09 Dreams Cancun Bride, and the quotes I've received so far, seem a little pricey. What should I be expecting for this time of year....HELP!!

Ummm...I just got a quote from my TA, and she said it would be $2252/person for one week/all inclusive with airfare and taxes. Does this seem pretty reasonable? I was hoping it would be $2000 taxes and everything included. If I wait a little bit, do you think the price would drop??

At least for us in November as people wait to book the prices have been going up as the time gets closer.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
