I read that someone got translucent envelopes off oriental trading but I can't seem to find them.
Okay - I found them...
Wedding Favors - Personalized Wedding Gifts from Bliss! Weddings Market

They have they have a 50 pack of medium glassine envelopes for $7.99. The medium ones should fit the tissue. I was going to order these but haven't yet.

Let us know how they turn out!

thanks,
Celina

I am wrapping the ribbon and flower on them now. I hope they won't flatten out, but I think the flowers are pretty resilient and can be fluffed out. I don't think I'll have time when i get down to Cabo to wrap the fans or attach the flowers.

I got the flowers from Silk Orchid Flowers

It turned out cheaper to buy the flowers on the stalks instead of the individual heads. I just cut them off the stalk when they arrived. Good luck!

I may either put them on each seat with a fan, or maybe put them in a basket by the entrance. Just worried that no one will see them. I know this sounds neurotic, but I don't want to put one on each seat because my FI says that the guys won't use it and I don't want them to go to waste. Any ideas would be really appreciated! =)

  • 3 months later...

I just bought A4 envelopes from paperandmore.com. It was like $6 for 50. I put a few tissues in each one and sealed them with a lable that has our names and wedding date.

Our ceremony makes me cry but I also figured people could use them if they get sweaty.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
