Anybody making those "tears of joy" tissue packets for the wedding day? what kind of packaging are you using?
I read that someone got translucent envelopes off oriental trading but I can't seem to find them.

I made them but even though all our guests were crying, nobody really knew they were there. They were in a basket somewhere at the ceremony site...

Here's what we bought and made stickers for. Template is in our planning thread.

i made them from tulle, and some people used them for wiping their sweat, as it was hot. if you google martha stewart tissue pouch, you may come up with some easy diy ones.

I have a website bookmarked on my computer at work that has those envelopes pretty cheap. I can get it for you on Monday.

I was going to make those as well using the translucent (glassline - I think that's what they are called) envelopes with a little label that said "For your tears of joy", and just have them placed on the chairs along with my program fans.

I'm making mine out of folded cardstock. I'm using an idea I saw on Martha Stewart's website. Here are pictures of mine so far (with my raffia fans using Courtney's idea ~thanks again Courtney!!). I'm still waiting for my "for your tears of joy" stamp to arrive. I got the stamp off of e-bay for about $3. I'm just not sure how to display these tissue packets though. I may either put them on each seat with a fan, or maybe put them in a basket by the entrance. Just worried that no one will see them. I know this sounds neurotic, but I don't want to put one on each seat because my FI says that the guys won't use it and I don't want them to go to waste. Any ideas would be really appreciated! =)

I really love how your fans turned out! I can't wait to do mine. I should be getting my flowers any day now. But I still have to get ribbon. Which do you think will look better...if I attach the program to the front of the fan (I'm concerned it'll be too much going on), or should I put it on the backside of the fan?

                How about every other chair??

Good idea... maybe every other chair will make sure they get seen and I don't have to make one for all the guys!

How big are your programs? If they are small enough, maybe you can tie them to the handle. Otherwise, I think they will look good on the front of the fan.

So, I haven't got as much done as you all have... But I do have a cute saying you could put on there
