Hello Ladies! Well, at last we finally found a great photographer who is available for our legal wedding--DULCEPHOTO. The other photographers were booked for our wedding date. Ryan is one of the top photographers in Oahu. Their rates are fantastic for the quality and the package that they offer. Here is their website: dulce by visionari.

We are getting Package 1 ($1,500) which is 4 hours of coverage and 2 photographers, slideshow and CD of pictures. I will post pictures after our wedding in September.

Hijack!

Wow, so wait, you aren't having your legal wedding until almost a year after the one you just had? Is it hush-hush around family and friends? We are having our big wedding at home, but it will be fake, and our "real" legal marriage in HA (which is on the DL except to close family who will be there), but less than a week later. I would go crazy having to wait almost a year! At least your next 6 months will fly by! So exciting!

Have you picked your 2nd dress?
Jess, how do you know I have a second dress? Haha! I don't actually. I would love to get one though! We will see... We are staying for a long time and I have to be good! hehe... So I will probably just wear my "old" wedding dress.

ha ha! I just assumed you'd get a 2nd one....I had two separate dresses, but I had my legal ceremony first. I do love your dress though, so wearing it twice should be nice...you lucky girl, you actually get to wear it more than once....makes you feel like you got your money's worth, huh? wink.gif

Yeah, you are correct. I told my Mom but she never understood the whole DW thing anyway. She is very traditional. Jed and I lived together for three years before the wedding so I have always felt he was my husband. And the real wedding for me was the one in Cabo. These weddings? I just want to be in a beautiful wedding gown and be the center of attention of everybody! Hahaha!!! Just kidding!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
