Invite Wording Help!

Hello all: I am having some difficulties wording my invites… the ceremony is at 6pm and i am having a beach Reception from 8pm... how do i include all of that on my invites... here is what I got so far… How should i include the reception @ 8pm

Why even bother?

 

I didn't put the times on our invites at all.

 

I'm including it in their OOT bags (a timeline of events).

 

No one needs to know the ceremony/reception time until they get there anyway.

You could always put "Reception to follow"

 

What do you want them to do for the 1.5 hours between the ceremony and reception? Are you hosting a cocktail hour or will people just chill?

We used the Boarding Pass templates ... so it was 5 pages of info ... but this is really the only specifics we gave (except for travel agent info and resort name). We added our wedding website url and keep that up-to-date with specifics.

I don't think you need to include the time, and worst case, you could just say something like "beach reception that evening".
