It is absolutely magically wonderfully perfect. The words are what every couple about to get married should feel, we did and I'm sure you did too (and still do of course).

Hey - I'm damn happy you know the song! Most people know who she is, but not that song, it wasn't a commercial hit. Okay now you're my BDW music twin pinkie.gif

We are!

I had originally wanted to walk down the aisle (and posted it here) to "Question" and off to "Such Great Heights" because I felt like it'd be original, but I got down to Mexico and started rethinking everything and listening to all the music on my iPod that I'd downloaded for the reception. And of course I was drinking. So I thought maybe it'd be a good idea to totally change up everything and I went with "Baby I'm Amazed" as my processional and "Here Comes the Sun" as my recessional. We love the Beatles, my son (and only wedding attendant) is named Jude, and I thought it would be perfect. It was, actually. Even those drunken decisions can sometimes be good ones.

We had planned to have the bridesmaids walk down the aisle to the opening verse of All I Want is You, and for the bride to walk down the aisle to Answer by Sarah McLachlan. Unfortunately, the cd player was experiencing technical difficulties, so we ended up walking down the aisle to the roar of the ocean, which was beyond beautiful. Still, we have a cd we burned labeled "Wedding Music", so anytime I hear these songs I think of them as our wedding songs.

Funnily enough, the cd player came magically to life once we were married, so we were able to use the Hawaiian version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow for signing the paperwork, and Is This Love by Bob Marley for walking back up the aisle as man and wife.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
