Ring Photo Shoot, IDEAS WANTED!!!

Recommended Posts

My BFF TammyDez and I want to have a "photo shoot" for my engagement ring and her wedding set! We have come up with the usual ideas of rings in the sand and rings in a flower but I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas? I would love to do something more unusual and more creative.... I appreciate any feedback and will post pics from our "photo shoot." Thanks in advance, I know I can count on you girls (and occasional guys!)

Cute idea. My friends & I had a impromtu ring photo shoot while we were BMs. The bride & groom were taking a bunch of pictures & we were just sitting in the pews. So we posed our rings on our bouquets. It was fun. The inside of the church really made them sparkle too.

Just be sure to use the macro setting for a good picture. I bet the photographers have more tips on how to capture a good ring picture.

I'll see if I can think of anything creative. Where/how did you get engaged? maybe something that tells that story.

I will let Tammy tell her own story but here goes mine..... we got engaged on October 20th after dinner at my fav restaurant in Atlantic City. After dinner we sat in chairs in the sand along a window that looks over the beach and ocean, he looked down and said "what is that" Me being a dunce said "what? I don't see anything... what are you talking about?" after which he dug up a ring box and asked me to marry him! I said yes and then became addicted to BDW!

This line is so funny to me!

So knowing your story I think something with sand or a treasure box. maybe an X marking a spot.

also ... if your wedding dress ties up, the ring tied up on the string of your wedding dress would be cute, ive also seen many where the ring&shoes are together ... or if you were able to put the ring into one of his ties when you tied it and put the tie on over one of his button-ups.. i think thats cute

atlantic city is like vegas right? maybe a ring ontop of poker chips, cards, dice, etc.

are you & your friend hiring a photographer? Or is this just two girls with a camera & their rings? Sounds like fun.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
