It's like kickboxing and body sculpting put to really hip music, it's amazing!

It's so energyzing and the moves are really awesome to work the abs especially. The choreography is NOT hard at all (the basic videos anyway) and you have so much FUN doing it!

there is the "lean" version of p90x. I agree, p90x can be too manly. I mostly focus on certain DVDs. i don't do the pushups. I love the legs DVD, cardio K, and arms.

turbo jam is a blast!!! I've done it 3 times now & I can't wait to jam again tonight. My abs are so sore afterwards. I might have to change the title of my thread, because i'm loving turbo jam. Although I still love my p90x dvds. I just do a mix of them. Somedays we turbo jam, some days we p90x. Somedays I do a pilates videos. Somedays I plop in front of the computer & eat. variety :)

Morgan, I found a kindred spirit!

Ok - so tell me - should I get TurboJam and the Cardioblast for Beach Body (these are by 2 different companies?)

Right now I use the Billy Blanks Fat Blasting Cardio series (the kind with the bands, though I tend to need more cardio then provided in the dvds (and I'm lazy about just doing the muscle focused ones b/c I like to get my endorphin high).

I also do DDR once in a while when I'm bored of Tae Bo.

My favorite workout is running (nothing beats it for cardio high) and doing to stairs (though I have to limit stairs to 2x a week b/c of my knees).

I used to love step aerobics (I know, old fashioned) but I have don't have dvds (only videos and a step) and my gym canceled all the step classes.

Anyhow, I need new dvds that are cardio focus (prefer minimum 40 minutes of cardio not counting warmup/cooldown). Are the TurboJam and CardoBlast long and really cardio focused?

Turbo Jam Cardio party sounds perfect for you. it's 40 minutes long & so much fun. It's part of the current turbo jam set for sell at the beach body website. Then there is a 20 minute Ab jam that is also fun. It's to really good bollywood type music.

I also enjoy lifting weights so i love p90x, but it sounds like you prefer cardio. When I lift weights I do it while watching tv so I'm distracted. or I talk to someone the whole time.

I love step aerobics too. I was so angry when gyms started to move away from step. I've tried to find a good step DVD, but haven't found one. I was a member of a gym almost 2 years ago that had great step classes, but it closed down. There was a big void left that p90x & now turbo jam have filled.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
