The best workout DVDs I have ever owned- P90X

Especially, because after almost two 90 day sessions back to back, I am nowhere near her or where I thought I would be. I feel that my body looks better and I know I am getting a great workout, but I thought I would have those abs and super defined arms....anyone else feel that way?

Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't really like the cardio workout!

We did yoga today, we put it in and saw that it was 1 1/2 hours!! I think it was a good workout, but honestly I'd much rather be doing cardio. But I figured I should at least try and do yoga more just for the stretching and flexibility.

I do agree that turbosculpt is not anywhere near as hard as P90X, but its a nice change sometimes.

I hate drea and her damn rolls, the first day I saw them do those, I just stood there because I was so afraid I was going to whack my head on the floor when I tried to do these and she's jumping up like a cheerleader doing all these fancy things. If I could have I would have punched her, lol!

FI and I started the p90x DVD's this AM. We are following the program so we did the Chest/Back/Ab Ripper.

 

those Ab exercises are HARD!

 

Is anyone else following the nutrition plan?

I want to do this but I don't have that kind of time. And I don't own weights so I would have to get spend more money on weights. And then I'd be scared I'm not doing it properly and therefore not seeing results.

 

But it seems like a good workout from what you guys are saying.

We're really not following the nutrition plan. We are trying to eat more protein and less carbs, since that is sort of the direction there plan goes in, and I do feel better when I eat more protein and less carbs.

But I'm just trying to stick to WW as far as knowing how much to eat.

Plyo was the workout I dreaded the most. It was incredible though- after 3 months, it became a lot easier so you can definitely tell when you improve.

It's amazing how I can already feel myself getting better at the videos, lifting more weight, doing more reps, being able to keep up with all of the exercises. It's great, I'm so glad we got these!

Just wanted to bump this thread to tell y'all I ordered the p90x and it's on it's way!!

 

With just over a month before we move, we aren't going to start until we get to the new house, but I'm soooooooo stoked!!! Wooooooo!!!

 

I also bought 2 more TJ workouts, the live ones!! WOOOT!!

whoo whoo! I love turbo jam too. Not as much of a fan of hip hop abs.
